  • Covenant’s Christmas Decorating Day - November  29
    If you are interested in helping beautify our church home for Christmas, then arrive at 8:30 A.M. this Tuesday, November 29th, to begin the decorating festivities!


  • Men of Covenant Hosted Family Breakfast  - December 3
    EVERYONE is  invited to join us on Saturday, December 3rd, from 7:30 A.M. - 8:30 A.M. in the Fellowship Hall for breakfast.  We will  hear from our very special guest speaker, Professor Art Beeler from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.  The topic of discussion   is "Reaching out to at risk youth.”   You can read more about Prof. Beeler on the Events tab of the Covenant web site.  Register on line today, or sign-up in the Narthex.


  • An Angel Tree Program Update & Party - December 4
    Thank you to everyone who participated in the Angel Tree program this year.  All of the Henderson county children’s names have been claimed; however, if you still desire to sponsor a child, we can obtain names of some children from neighboring counties, who are not sponsored.  See us at the little tree in the Narthex after the morning service, if you are interested. Please join us on Sunday, December 4th  at 3:00 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall for the Angel Tree Party!  Hot dogs and other goodies will be served. 

  • A Christmas Cantata - December 4
    Come and hear the Covenant Choir present, Dennis Allen's’, Come and Behold Him, Christmas presentation on Sunday, December 4 at 6:00 P.M., in the Sanctuary. 

  • Monday Night Ladies Christmas Dinner - December 5
    You are invited to join the Monday Night Bible Study class as we celebrate Christmas with a cover-dish meal on December 5th at 6:00 P.M. at the home of Mary Laughter. Please bring an inexpensive “white elephant” gift for exchanging. Come and share in our fellowship as we praise and thank God for this blessed time of year remembering Christ’s coming to earth as a baby in order to redeem us through God’s plan of salvation.   • Musicke Antiqua -“Deck the Halls“ Concert - December 7
    Come and enjoy the beautiful sounds of some Renaissance holiday music at 7:00 P.M.  This concert is free and open to the public! 

  • Covenant Book Club Christmas Luncheon - December 8
    For November, the Covenant Book Club is reading
    The House at Riverton by Kate Morton.  We will discuss this historic novel at our Christmas luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 1:00 at the home of Loretta Buettner.

  • Salvation Army Bell Ringing Time! - December 8 and 9th
    Covenant will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army on Thursday, December 8th and Friday, December 9th at the entrance of the Fresh Market.  Please join us in this worthwhile effort.   The sign-up sheets are in the Narthex
    on the Information Desk. 

  • Christmas Dinner Gala – Sunday, December 11
    There is still time to make your reservation for this very special dinner!  Holiday punch and appetizers will be served at 5:00 p.m. and dinner at 5:30.  Cost is $10/person, with a family maximum of $25. 00. Your tickets can be found in this week’s bulletin.  Place your ticket in the offering plate, or drop off to the church office.   Deadline for reservation is Dec. 8.  Be sure to indicate your choice of either beef or chicken, and the number in your party.

  • Angel Vespers Program - December 18
    Bring your family and friends at 6:00 P.M. to experience the Christmas story in action! Come and listen to the exciting narration by Dave Fox, and experience the Christmas story unfold as children portray the timeless message. 

  • Christmas Eve, Advent Candlelight Service  - December 24
    Everyone is welcome, so please invite your family, friends, and neighbors to join us! We will begin our Candlelight service at 5:30 P.M
