Ladies Fall Retreat, October 27 & 28th

It’s that time again, Ladies! Registration begins officially on August 18th and will end on September 18th for our Fall Retreat, October 27th & 28th. There will be a sign-up sheet on the Women’s Ministry table in the Narthex accompanied by a description and price of the rooms available. You may designate your room of choice and with whom you wish to share the room. There will be more information in the next few weeks regarding money and how checks are to be written. Our Treasurer, Jean Oates, is the one who will be receiving all of the money so that one final check may be given to the WCP WMT Treasurer who sends it to Ridge Haven.  We are thrilled to have as our SpeakerLori Sealy, who through testimony and music, will present “Lessons on Suffering, Sovereignty, and the Joy That Comes From Jesus.” She is a pastor’s wife, mother and concert musician and will open our Retreat on Friday evening with her “Songs and Stories of Grace.” You will be challenged and blessed by Lori’s messages. She is a sister “who truly knows what it is to hurt and also has found our God to be truly good-even when things are truly bad.” Please be praying for her, the staff at Ridge Haven, all those attending and their family members, the WCP WM Team as we prepare, and most of all that God will be glorified by all we say and do before, during, and after the Retreat.

Thank you!  For more information contact: Glenda Genot or Kathy Merrell

Save the Date ! -  Women’s Ministry Presentation:
The Blood: Critical for Life Here and the Hereafter!

The Women of Covenant welcome all preteens, teens and women to join us on Saturday, September 16, in the Fellowship Hall for an amazing and exciting presentation: The Blood: Critical for Life Here and the Hereafter!   We will be comparing the components of our physical blood with the attributes of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit! We will stand amazed by His teaching us more about Him through our beautifully designed-created bodies in ways you may have never imagined! Collectively, those contributing to this Session have approximately 325 years of experience in medical laboratory science and all contributors are followers of Jesus Christ.
Please bring your Bible since it will be your text book.
The presentation is from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  Join us in glorifying our Almighty Creator through this study! This presentation is free, but we need to know how many plan attend so please sign the designated Sign-up sheet on the Women’s Ministry table in the Narthex.   Ephesians 1:7   In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.
